N1 - Funding Information: JUN WU (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in information and telecommunication studies from Waseda University, Japan, in 2011. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Research Institute for Secure System (RISEC), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan, from 2011 to 2012. He was a Special Researcher with the Global Information and Telecommunication Institute (GITI), Waseda University, from 2011 to 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He is also the Vice Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Information Content Analysis Technology, China. He has published more than 130 papers in international journals and conferences, including IEEE TRANSACTIONS, journals, GLOBECOM, ICC, and INFOCOM. He has coauthored a book on smart grids published by Wiley. He has applied for more than 30 patents. His research interests include advanced security techniques of the Internet of Things, industrial control systems, wireless sensor networks, and smart grids. He is experienced in developing and designing security architecture, protocols, and software/hardware for mobile computing, distributed computing, and wireless sensor networks. He is also the Leader or the Main Participant of many national projects, such as the National Natural Science Funds of China (NFSC), the National 863 Plan and 973 Plan projects of China, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) under Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research. He received the Best Conference Paper Award from the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on CSIM, in 2018. He also received the Second Award for Science Development from the Chinese Institute of Electronics, in 2018. He also received the ‘‘Shanghai Pujiang Talent Plan Award,’’ in 2015. He is also the Chair of the IEEE P21451-1-5 Standard Working Group for the IoT. He has served as the Track Chair for VTC 2019 and the TPC Member for more than ten international conferences, including ICC, GLOBECOM, and WINCON. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE ACCESS. He also serves as a Guest Editor for IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL, Sensors, and ICT Express. Funding Information: He joined the Cleveland State University (CSU) as a Faculty Member in 2004, where he is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). He is also serving as the Chair of the Graduate Program Committee for the Department of EECS. He has authored a research monograph titled: ‘‘Building Dependable Distributed Systems’’ (Scrivener Publishing, an imprint of John Wiley and Sons). Furthermore, he has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles on smart and connected health, fault-olerant and dependable systems (three of them won the best paper awards), physics, and education. His research was supported in part by the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Ohio State Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, and by Cleveland State University. He is also serving on the organizing committee and the technical program committee for numerous international conferences. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Parallel Emergent and Distributed Systems, International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies, International Journal of Performability Engineering, and International Journal of Handheld Computing Research. He is also an Associate Editor of IEEE ACCESS and an Academic Editor of PeerJ Computer Science. He is an awardee of the 2018 and 2020 IEEE ACCESS Outstanding Associate Editor Award. Funding Information: He joined the University of Stavanger (UiS) as a Faculty Member in 1998, where he is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering. At work, he is also the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Innovation Centre for IP-based Services Innovation (CIPSI), UiS. He is also an Adjunct Senior Scientist leading Big-Data with the IRIS Research Institute, Norway. He has an extensive contact network and projects in both industry and academia. His patent on cloud security was recently awarded in the USA and Canada, and then acquired by a security software company in Norway. He has extensive experience in managing large-scale research and development projects funded by both industry and funding agencies, both in Norway and EU. He has been honored as a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA), since 2011. He is also the Co-Chair of IEEE Blockchain Initiative, the Chair of IEEE CLOUD COMPUTING, the Chair of IEEE Computer Society Special Technical Community on Blockchain, and the Steering Chair of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CLOUD COMPUTING (TCC). He is also the Founder and the Steering Chair of the IEEE CloudCom Conference and Workshop Series. He is also the Steering Chair and an Associate Editor of the IEEE TCC, and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cloud Computing (Springer).
